Customer Information and Data Privacy Policy

Below are the guidelines we use for protecting the information you provide us during your experience with our company through any means such as when you interact with us through our services, or when we speak with you over the telephone. For all purposes, BCR Technology Solutions, LLC shall be referred to as “BCR” within this policy. This privacy statement does not apply to the web sites of our business partners or to any other third parties, even if their web sites are linked to us. We recommend you review the privacy policies of each web site you visit. This privacy statement governs only personal information we collect from our customers, (you), or through BCR’s services and/or relationship with you. For the purposes of this privacy statement, “Business partners” means any subcontractor, vendor, or other entity with whom we have any business relationship to provide products, services, or information. “Personal information” means information which identifies you, such as your name, telephone number, and e-mail address. In some cases, the policy may be tailored to account for variances in law in a particular state. BCR reserves the right to change, alter, or update this policy at any time without notice.

 

Information We Collect

  • We collect the information you give us in order to provide you products and services, inform you about our products, and fulfill your orders and service requests.
  • In the course of providing you with service, we may also come into contact with data that is stored on your hard drive, compact disc, USB storage device, or other storage media. Though this data is not regularly collected, it is sometimes necessary for us to store said data on our own hard drives or servers as part of the repair process. If this data is in any way security sensitive, you are required to notify BCR in writing prior to engaging our services, otherwise BCR makes no guarantee, expressed or implied, as to the security of your data as it is handled by our technician(s).

 

How We Use Personal Information

  • We use personal information to deliver services and support, or to carry out the transactions you have requested.
  • We use the information collected to send communications to you, such as your transactions status (for example, service information), information about services and promotional offers available from BCR.
  • We use the information to customize, analyze, and improve our services and communications with you.
  • We use information to prevent fraud and other prohibited or illegal activities.

 

 

Data Handling and Security

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that prior to BCR starting work on its computer system that all critical data has been backed up, and that appropriate recovery procedures are in place. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up all files and folders. BCR cannot accept liability for any loss of data and/or information during any repair, upgrade or diagnosis. If this data is in any way security sensitive, you are required to notify BCR in writing prior to engaging our services, otherwise BCR makes no guarantee, expressed or implied, as to the security of your data as it is handled by our technician(s).

 

Disclosing Personal Information

  • We share your personal information with business partners to carry out transactions you request, only with your permission.
  • With your permission, we may share your personal information with business partners that help BCR carry out transactions you request.
  • We may disclose your personal information in connection with law enforcement, fraud prevention, or other legal action as required by law or regulation, or if BCR reasonably believes it is necessary to protect BCR, its customers, or the public.
  • Except as described above, we will not disclose your personal information to any other third parties unless you have provided consent.
  • We reserve the right to publicly list you as a client. If you wish for your use of our services to remain confidential, you must notify us in writing prior to engaging our services. If you notify us after a public listing has been published, we reserve the right to 30 days to remove the listing.
